WCSC enters a new era
with its
NEW CHILDREN’s CENTER!
The newly dedicated Children’s Center is the bright
spot of Christiansted.
On Saturday, January 28th, we dedicated our Children’s Center in memory of Alice
S. Pfaelzer, one of our founding tutors and a long time friend of the Women’s
Coalition.
Our bright yellow building provides one-on-one tutoring and violence prevention
to neighborhood children. Presently, our center is staffed completely by
volunteers and was funded by generous individuals in our community.
This facility has been a long time dream of the Women’s Coalition of St. Croix.
Now in its infancy, the Alice S. Pfaelzer Children’s Center will continue to
expand its services to meet the needs of children in St. Croix.
