Message from the Co-Directors

As we prepare for the holiday season and start of a new millennium, we ask each of you to help in some small way. For many families who come to our crisis center or reside at our shelter the holidays are not happy times. But each of us can contribute to make the holidays happier for those in need.

How You Can Help

  • At your office or home holiday party, ask your employees or guests to bring a small gift item or canned goods for the women and children in our shelter.

  • Bring a wrapped gift suitable for a child, labeled with the appropriate age, to our office in Christiansted or to Terry's in Sunny Isle. We have many families in need of gifts.

  • Tell your friends and family that instead of buying gifts this year (we all have too much stuff), you are making a donation to the Women's Coalition in their name. We will send them a card from us and you.

  • Donations of canned goods, paper products, copy paper, cleaning supplies, infant formula, art supplies for children and disposable diapers are always needed.

  • Women's Coalition logo and the Women's Coalition 20th Anniversary logo are available in gold or silver at The Gold Shop, Pan Am Pavilion, Christiansted. This is a great gift and we get part of the proceeds!

Campaign 2001. We have kicked off our capital/endowment campaign.  Our goal is to raise $300,000 by December 31, 2001.

Quilt Donated by The New Image Quilters
The New Image Quilters pieced and hand quilted a quilted wall hanging for the Women's Coalition of St. Croix.  For full story, click here.
